It’s a question explored by author and public intellectual Malcolm Gladwell in his podcast series, Revisionist History.
In a recent episode entitled “The King of Tears,” Gladwell discussed the Grand Philharmonic Chamber Singers’ November 2016 performance of Annelies, the cantata based on the diary of Anne Frank.
He interviewed chorister Bev Suderman-Gladwell and artistic director Mark Vuorinen, and recorded the singing of soloist Natasha Campbell.
