Music in the community
We love to make music in all kinds of places. We have performed beside hiking trails on the banks of the Grand River in Cambridge; held open rehearsals and performances at Kitchener City Hall; offered a concert preview at Kitchener Public Library, and our children’s choir has delighted the crowds at Wonders of Winter in Waterloo. All for free.
Our singers have performed at Christkindlmarkt; at a fund-raiser for Women’s Crisis Services; at BlackBerry’s offices; and at a special Remembrance Day event featuring Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire.
We have helped bring great composers such as Eriks Ešenvalds and Sir James MacMillan to give public workshops, concerts and lectures that are accessible to everyone. We have also produced benefit concerts to help raise money for those stricken by disaster.
