Sing with us!
Youth and Children’s Choirs
Young singers are welcome in our Children’s Choir (age 7 to 13) and Youth Choir (age 14 to 23). We offer first-rate performance opportunities, music education, and terrific collaborations with musicians and singers in Canada and across the world – all in a fun and supportive environment! Our season begins in September and ends in spring.

In recent seasons, our children’s and youth singers have:
- performed music from a wide variety of genres in our own concerts
- performed with the Grand Philharmonic Choir at Centre In The Square for concerts of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, the St. Matthew Passion of Bach, and Water: An Environmental Oratorio, by Stephanie Martin
- toured Denver, Colorado for the Sing a Mile High festival in June of 2025
- performed collaboratively as guest artists with K-W Musical Productions, Carousel Dance Centre, and Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony
- worked with children’s choirs around the world to produce an online recording of a New Year’s song in Ukrainian.
In the upcoming 2026-27 season, we’re planning:
- a collaboration for all our singers, with Dr. Darren Hamilton, one of Canada’s
most significant gospel music experts. Darren will lead a workshop with us in the fall, and we’ll join a performance with him and his university singers in Toronto in early 2027 - Our singers will also perform in Yuletide Pops at Centre In The Square with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony in December.
- Children’s choir singers will perform at the German Christmas Market in downtown Kitchener. There will also be a fun trip to Toronto to meet and sing with other children’s choirs and other activities!
- Youth choir singers will join the adult choir in November 2026 for the season opener performance of Haydn’s The Creation at Centre In The Square with the K-W Symphony, top soloists, and Mark Vuorinen as conductor.
- To finish of the season, we’ll have our own concert in the spring, followed by a party!

Graduating Children’s Choir singerJoining the choir was a fantastic move on my part. I have loved music ever since I was born. I have been in many musicals and choirs in my life but this is the first time I've felt like I'm a part of it. I have also made a few friends here that have helped me greatly in ways they don't even realize.
