Sonia Kagolovskaya

Sonia Kagolovskaya, collaborative pianist for the Grand Philharmonic Children’s Choir, is in her third year of Piano Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. In April 2024, she was awarded the 2024 Laurier Scholarship Award, which is awarded to only one student per faculty, for demonstrating leadership in extra-curricular activities and accomplishments. She was the accompanist for three choirs in her high school, as well as co-writer and co-producer of a play that was performed in her final year of high school. She has also competed on the junior national figure skating team, and medaled in numerous international competitions in the United States, Germany and Hungary.
