We have a winner! Matthew Emery is the winner of our 4th annual Choral Works composition competition. His work for youth choir, We Two, will be premiered in spring 2022 and is a setting of a poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Emery’s composition was one of a record 24 submissions in the competition, which is for composers across Canada who are 30 or under. Emery receives a $1,500 prize and will be invited to the rehearsals and premiere of the work. The complete press release can be found HERE
